Privacy notice

Who we are

Money Saviour is the shared name of two separate companies. Each is responsible, as a data controller, for the personal information it holds:

• Money Saviour C.I.C. (company no. 07519256), which provides commissioned debt and welfare benefits advice.
• Money Saviour Financial Solutions Ltd (company no. 08255761), which provides personal finance coaching and financial wellbeing services.

Registered office for both: 16 Clodien Avenue, Heath, Cardiff CF14 3NP (not open to visitors). Contact us about privacy at hello@moneysaviour.co.uk. Both companies are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

This website

This website doesn't use forms, accounts, advertising or tracking cookies, and it doesn't set any cookies of its own.

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. Cloudflare may process this information outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.

When you email us

If you email us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to tell us. We use it to reply to you and, if you go ahead, to arrange services.

Please don't send details of your finances, health or other sensitive information in a first enquiry. If we need them, we'll explain how to share them securely.

Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Clients

If you use our services, we'll give you a separate privacy notice at the start that explains how we handle your information as a client. People referred for debt advice by a commissioning organisation receive this from Money Saviour C.I.C. when their case begins.

How long we keep information

We keep enquiry emails that don't lead to any work for no longer than we need to deal with them. Client records are kept for the periods explained in the client privacy notice, including any periods required by the Financial Conduct Authority or other legal obligations.

Sharing

We don't sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business (such as our email and IT providers), where the law requires it, or with your agreement.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to data portability. To make a request, email hello@moneysaviour.co.uk.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes

We'll update this notice if our practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
